About James Hulme

With over 20 years of experience in software and services engineering, I have developed a diverse set of skills and knowledge in Microsoft products, Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, lab management systems, and PowerShell scripting. My last role was as a Senior Services Engineer at Microsoft, where I was responsible for the ongoing development of multiple lab management services as well as much of our Azure automation and management. I enjoy taking on challenging and innovative projects that require collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. I have led the development team to design multiple lab management systems, reduced the Azure budget by 20%, and designed and managed CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. I also value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and I have led team DEI meetings to foster a positive and inclusive work culture. My mission is to leverage technology and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers and stakeholders.
