I believe when defining IT Strategy you should work to align it directly to what gives the best outcome on the front line. If the people on the ground are receiving what they need to deliver the service to our customers rapidly, repeatedly and safely, everything else can be built behind this. I don’t believe in IT as a back-office function—I believe in eliminating the traditional IT department. My mission is to bring IT out of the basement and fully integrate it into the business to drive value, innovation, and strategic success. With over a decade in IT leadership, I’ve progressed from hands-on technical roles to leading IT strategy and transformation across the Australasian region. Now, as Head of Information Technology for Australasia, I oversee all facets of IT for a complex, high-stakes industry, ensuring technology is an enabler—not a blocker—for business growth.
