About James Jukosky

I offer twenty years of experience in cell and molecular biology and animal physiology. My Ph.D. in molecular, cellular, and systems physiology, four years as a postdoctoral fellow in microbiology and immunology, and thirteen years as a biology professor provide extensive experience in many technical skills. In addition, my proven leadership, management skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be an asset to any team or company. My technical expertise lies in cell culture as well as nucleic acid isolation, amplification, cloning, and editing. I have experience in ELISA assay development and protein purification. My research has involved many cell-based assays and a wide variety of other lab techniques and computer skills, as outlined in my resume. My work as a research scientist at Dartmouth College and biology professor at Colby-Sawyer College translates well to the requirements of many biotech positions. I am adept at leading and managing projects as well as designing, conducting, and troubleshooting experiments. During my funded research projects, I gained experience maintaining and editing protocols, regulatory documentation, and standard operating procedures. As a research scientist and teacher, I analyze and communicate data orally and in writing to cross-disciplinary teams daily.
