Key contributions include: • Supervised teams of up to 75 staff members on 25 large-scale power plant projects, leading proposal developments valued at up to $800M. • Unified a 90% new hire project team consisting of engineering, procurement, and construction to meet the project schedule, budget and client expectations on a $450M environmental retrofit program. • Managed a 55-man multidiscipline engineering task force in Brazil on a 475 MW GE 7FA gas turbine based combined cycle power plant with simple to combined cycle phased startup while work-sharing engineering with Brazilian Engineering Firm. • Facilitated safe man-hours of site construction labor without a lost time accident by heralding project safety awareness on the job site. • Led a 12-person project execution team with subcontracted detail design on a $35M liquid fuel to natural gas firing gas turbine conversion project. o Tasked with replacing the previous project manager and rectifying the project after it fell behind schedule and went over budget. Performed refurbishment and fuel conversion of three 38-year-old Pratt & Whitney FT4 Twin-Pac combustion turbine and generators units. • Reduced losses by $2M on an already financially challenged project by soliciting multiple bidders. • Led an 8-person multi-disciplinary team on an 800MW dual fuel combined cycle power plant owner’s engineering project.
