About James Keeling

Driven by purpose and a love for connecting with people, I’ve transformed obstacles into a lifelong mission to lead, protect, and empower. Growing up without a stable home, I learned early on the power of grit and adaptability. In 2002, I joined the Marine Corps, setting off on a 21-year career that transformed me. From Marine Corps Infantry to leading intelligence operations around the globe and shaping intelligence programs, I became known for delivering solutions in the face of risk and complexity globally. Today, I navigate the shifting landscape of global security threats and geopolitical issues to keep people and information safe. Using data-driven insights and tools combined with my experience I help leadership make informed, proactive decisions in a fast-paced world. I’m energized by the constant challenges, finding solutions that protect what matters most in this increasingly interconnected environment. But beyond my professional life, I thrive on connecting with others and pursuing a mix of passions. I’m a dedicated father of four, a SCUBA diver, and an entrepreneur who enjoys performing stand-up comedy. I also volunteer with two organizations: 1) Teen Feed where we work with the community to offer support to meet basic needs, build strong relationships, and ally with houseless youth as they meet their future off the streets; 2) Defy Ventures, a training program for currently and formerly incarcerated members of society that focuses on entrepreneurship, employment, and character development training. I’ve been lucky enough to blend my experiences of intelligence, security, business, and human connection into a meaningful career and life. I believe in the strength of diverse experiences and perspectives, and I’m always eager to meet others who value resilience, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence.
