I currently work for Rheinmetall UK as a post design technician for MAN Military Vehicles. Hitachi Rail for over 6 years, gaining extensive experience working and managing a maintenance team in the high pressure rail environment. Skilled in multi tasking and time management, process improvement and working to strict H&S working conditions. I have trained new employees to achieve there safety critical status to allow lone working, creating a professional skilled and motivated team. Previously serving for nearly 14 years in Her Majesty’s Royal Marine Commandos. I gained a lot of life experience in a relatively short space of time. Capable of adapting to various situations often at very short notice, working well as a member of a team or as an individual often under extreme pressure. The military teaches you life values that I now try to incorporate into every aspect of my personal and professional life. Shortly after joining the marines I trained as a vehicle and recovery mechanic and have used these skills to operate all over the world in the most demanding situations and conditions. in my final three years in the marines I have worked as a vehicle mechanic alongside UK Special Forces on operations around the globe.
