Notable career highlights include- Considerable experience in risk and assurance experience having supported the development and maintenance of risk registers within the context of projects, closure, operating assets and strategy development including the communication of the outcomes to senior leaders- Pioneering the application of probabilistic modelling techniques into annual planning and domain based mine closure planning- Transitioning Rio Tinto's Integrated Assurance Office from concept to implementation that created and maintained a transparent second line assurance plan for the operating assets across Rio Tinto. This enhanced the audit delivery experience, reduced the audit footprint at an operating asset and elevated awareness of agreed action plans to senior leader groups- Establishing and rolling out fit for purpose risk management frameworks that include senior leader drive and involvement, pragmatic performance requirements, technical mentoring/coaching support arrangements, integration of insurance and assurance programs and governance interactions woven into existing leader forums- Acting as the Community Relations Manager at the Weipa Operations, enhancing my understanding of Traditional Owner agreements and criticality of community engagement throughout the mining asset life cycle.
