About James Kinney

I'm a conceptual jack of many trades and a master of finding the right story to tell. I'm an CD/ACD/Brand manager, writer, closet art director, with knowledge of both traditional, digital and experiential… but probably a summer camp director at heart. I have project management and leadership experience that give me the comfort to address clients, strengthen relationships, and effectively communicate creative learnings. as well as joke about buzzwords like creative learnings. The origin story: So there I was, lounging in an arts theater at the Seattle International Film Festival, enjoying a British documentary called "The Men from the Agency."​ My Raisinets went undisturbed as I was totally captivated by the budding careers of David Puttnam, Alan Parker and Charles Saatchi. Their time at Collet Dickinson Pearce immediately gave me the "I could do that, and crush it!" itch towards advertising.
