About James Krom

From a 4-year-old boy drawing roses to the ownership of a renowned gallery that ships high quality art pieces all over the world. My love of art began at an early age. I was inspired by great artists like Leonardo DaVinci, Rembrandt, Rockwell, Robert Bateman and many others. I began drawing and painting and won a number of art awards throughout my youth. I also received encouragement from Darie LaVoi and guidance from mentor Charlie Pearson, Pat Neville and others. This love of art and nature continued into my adult years. A childhood dream was to create a Natural History Museum using the Arts. After majoring in Art in college, I began to expand my art through more original paintings and print reproductions. Eventually my passion to support fellow artists and bring art enjoyment to more people led me to open James Krom Natural Images Art Gallery Museum - Exploring nature through Art. This gallery has grown from a small space with a few artists to a gallery representing over 100 National and Regional Artists. I am fortunate to enjoy clientele from all over the world. Located next door to the Mayo Clinic, spending time in the gallery is a chance to feel connected to something joyful and inspiring. For some, the pieces bring comfort, escape, happy memories. For others, it may be a unique and meaningful gift or a memento of travel. Beautiful art pieces give us a window into a special place in our souls. It can help us appreciate the beauty around us in a new light or from a different view of adventure, curiosity and excitement.
