About James Lakeman

James has been working in the petrochemical, nuclear, chemical, plastics, biofuels, and pharma industries since 1980. During the 44 yrs in this industry James built his business solving difficult solutions in failure analysis and repair of glasslined equipment. This philosophy has grown a small home based consulting business to a company with 11 employees in a sq.ft. facility containing warehousing, production, offices, and research capabilities with 15 acres of outside storage. Our area of expertise is glasslined processing equipment. We as a company provide consulting services, field service engineers and technicians for the repair, failure analysis, and preventative maintenance of all types of glass lined process equipment. We recondition and rebuild process equipment on a turnkey basis with a warranty. Glasslined Technologies is one of only 3 companies providing reglassing services for glass lined processing equipment to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in North America. As a company we continue efforts in research and development of enamelling technology as evidenced by the filing of 2 patents. As of November 2013 GTI filed its first patent to reapply glass in process equipment at the customer's site. Most damaged areas in glass lined equipment can now be repaired permanently rather than the temporary repairs that have plagued the industry since its inception. Glasslined Technologies, Inc. Is the only company in the world with the technology to apply an enameled coating at your site.
