Spent 13 years, 8 months, in the U.S. Navy reaching the enlisted rank of E-6, Petty Officer First Class. 10 of those years spent as a Master-at-Arms, conducting Law Enforcement operations in various countries. The first 3+ years were spent as a Sonar Technician where I earned the integrated undersea surveillance (IUSS) device. I ended my obligated service honorably in the spring of 2011 to come home. Began with the Department of Veterans Affairs in the fall of 2011. I started my career as a program support clerk with the police service and have since climbed the ladder to occupy a police/ law enforcement position achieving the rank of Major. Have had the privilege of leading and working with outstanding officers, and have been a part of taking the Providence police service in a professional direction and enjoy how well established within the VA community the Providence VA Police have become.
