About James Logan

I have spent my career operating at the intersection of technology and business, both academically and professionally. My academic background has supported this through an undergraduate double degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Maryland (magna cum laude), an active CPA license, and an MBA with a Marketing concentration from the University of North Carolina (beta gamma sigma). Professionally, I spent four years working in IT Risk Assurance at KPMG, with an emphasis on Financial Services and Defense contractors. I transitioned from KPMG to 2U Inc, a leading Education Technology company, where I joined the marketing analytics and strategy group. The common thread throughout my experience has been using data and systems to optimize business performance, whether that is from a risk-based perspective, a revenue-optimization perspective, or a customer-experience perspective. I have experience leading and managing both people and projects, working as a consultant, communicating effectively with executive-level stakeholders, and driving initiatives from inception to completion.
