About James Luma

I am a GIS Analyst for Lehigh County Authority. My role includes but is not limited to spatial data analysis, updating linear assets, and map creating, editing, and publishing. I am very excited to see how much I continue to grow and learn from my role. While I was in undergrad I presented research at the Middle States Division of the Association of American Geographers two years in a row. I was also the President of the Geography Club and a peer tutor for GIS courses. I received my B.S. in Environmental Science and a certificate for Geospatial Information Technology, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in school I worked for Emmaus Wildlands as a GIS Intern. I am easy-going and never say no to a problem. I will always try to excel and give my best effort. I like to hike, camp, really anything outdoors. I am also very interested in climatology, meteorology, and astronomy.
