About James Lynch

James is a Certified Addiction Counselor, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Community Health Worker, a certified peer recovery specialist, and Certified in Mental Health First Aid. James has experience working in the field of addiction and mental health in various treatment settings including detox, inpatient, and outpatient treatment. Here James has taken on the roles of a Clinical Service Associate, Clinical Coordinator, Group Facilitator, Substance Use Counselor, and now Assistant Director of Operations James has completed his Associates degree with honors in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counseling at Manchester Community College, his bachelors at Central Connecticut State University and is now enrolled at Fordham University where he will be receiving his Masters degree in Social Work in December of 2024. James specializes in Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and has extensive training in both group facilitation, and individual therapy settings. James not only has professional, but personal experience of the impact that both mental health and addiction has on the individual, the family unit, and society as a whole. James identifies the work he does as his passion, as he is able to use both his professional and personal experience to help others find the path of recovery
