About James MacPhee

I lead Liberty Mutual’s Enterprise Transformation & Solutions function, charged with shaping a culture of operational excellence that delivers efficient and effective solutions across the enterprise, and helps us provide the best value for our customers. I joined Liberty in 1991 and have held several positions touching almost every part of our business, from sales, service, claims, marketing, product management, actuarial, operations management, strategic planning, systems & operations integration, and public affairs, to leading our global personal and small commercial insurance business. I’m a proud ally and currently serve as Co-Executive Sponsor of the LEADA@Liberty Employee Resource Group for employees of African descent and allies. I’m also honored to sit on the Board of Directors of the Pine Street Inn, New England's leading provider of housing, shelter, street outreach and job training services to homeless men and women. When I’m not learning from my incredible colleagues and mentors, you can find me spending time with my wife and son, running or traveling.
