Contracts Manager/ Senior Site Manager with 20+ years’ experience. I’ve gained valuable knowledge working on a wide range of complex projects including retail, high specification residential developments, hospitals, office blocks, airports, factories, shopping centers, bridges, silos, mining head gears and in precast and prestressed concrete products. I have 12+ years international work experience. My experience gives me the ability to lead, manage and be part of a team to successfully complete a construction project within time, budget and to specification.# ACHIEVEMENTS - Fast track completion of fast-food retail outlets for Tim Hortons. The projects include structure alterations, internal fit out, kitchens, cold rooms, external works, roadworks, paving, render, landscaping- The completion of the prestigious Le Domain De Grand Baie, a high-profile state of the art hotel complex for senior citizens with private residential units. The project consists of 155 apartments, Wellness Centre, swimming pools, restaurants, administration block, technical block, roads and landscaped areas- The successful completion of Mon Tresor Business Gateway Project, which was the first of the smart city initiatives in Mauritius. It was the first green star rated project in Mauritius which was awarded 4 stars by the Green Building Council of South Africa- Being part of the construction team to build the prestigious Banyan Grove Apartments at the Grand Baie, Mon Choisy Golf Estate- The successful completion of AO Residences, a Residential development consisting of 29 units in townhouses, villas and apartment blocks. The development was completed successfully well within budget- The completion of a government hospital project in Mauritius where I held the position of Construction Project Manager. The project was completed to the entire satisfaction of the Client, Architects and Engineers. Jeetoo Hospital was a landmark project for Mauritius and Gamma Construction- Project Manager for Stahlton Engineered Concrete(Fulton Hogan) at the main Auckland branch of the largest supplier of precast and prestressed concrete products in New Zealand- Management of the civil and building works on multiple projects while employed as Senior Site Agent in South Africa for Concor Construction. I enjoy the challenges associated with working on construction contracts and seeing the project through from start till successful completion.
