About James McCann

James McCann is the CEO and Co-Founder of Universal Interactive, a company focused on high end web applications and virtual technologies. Prior to co-founding Universal, James worked at Group 9 Productions, where he focused on the government services division. Working closely with all aspects and teams, as well as directly with government customers, James built the government offering from initial set-up to launch. Through his work the company successfully expanded its sales to Fortune 100 companies, the US military and a number of government agencies. Before joining Group 9, James was the Project Manager of CMR Computer Division, an information technology contractor and consulting company. James has worked as a technical consultant in both the private sector and the federal government; he has over 25+ years of computer and software experience. A native of Northern Virginia, James currently lives and works in the Washington DC Metro Area. In the 1984 I was the co-inventor of a product known as the RistRest, everyone has seen or used this product. The RistRest was a keyboard support for the users wrist and helped to prevent carpal tunnel symptoms, originally designed for use with the TRS-80 Model 1 but soon it was supporting every brand of computer on the market at the time. The RistRest went through several redesigns until the final product was completed, attach is an old advertisement for the RistRest.
