I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with close to 10 years’ experience (7 years PQE). I currently work as a Financial Controller in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Limited in Galway where I have worked since 2022. I have previously worked with Portwest Limited as finance manager for two years. Prior to that I worked as senior group accountant for Dalata Hotel Group plc for four years having previously worked in practice with PwC for just over 3 years, specialising in audit and assurance. Throughout my accounting career, I have demonstrated strong technical, interpersonal and organisational skills along with excellent communication skills which enabled me to excel with work as part of a team or as an individual. I have a keen interest in sport and current affairs, with a particular interest in cycling, golf and Gaelic games.
