As the UK Head of SEO, I manage all Search Engine Optimisation activities across our UK eCommerce business streams and have an advisory capacity across related eCom team interests, including Google Algorithm Updates and Conversion Rate Optimisation. Management priorities include in-house SEO training and skills development, and day-to-day management of internal team members, freelancers, and external agencies for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities, including keyword strategy and content development, on-page development meeting Algorithm Updates and evolving best-practice, backlink audits and maintenance, auditing and reporting on in-house performance, as well as lead generation and optimising conversion potential. With a solid background in inbound B2B and B2C digital strategy, my roles involve audits, maintenance and optimisation of front and back-end technical build and website performance, HTML and Semantic Tag optimisation, ongoing Search Engine Optimisation and SERPs management, alignment of SEO and paid advertising campaigns, content and copywriting management, user tracking, and co-ordinating on-page content and layout for optimised indexed crawling, UX and conversion potential. Core strengths in the use of SERPs, CMS, and front-end web management, including WordPress, Visual Soft, Hubspot, Access, and bespoke CMS software packages.
