After leaving school James spent 10 years in the Horticultural industry. In the pursuit of the further development of his Horticultural business James completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) with Distinction at the University of Western Sydney in Upon completion of his Degree he spent 12 months with Mail Call Couriers as Business Development Manager & then went to Gray Eisdell Timms (GET) as Auction Rooms Manager. James joined rhas at the end of 2004. James is also an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute, a Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand & a Certified Practising Valuer. James has been a valuer, broker & auctioneer since He managed the building materials, machinery & motor vehicles division for GET. James won the Auctioneers and Valuers Association Auctioneers Competition in 2001. Since joining rhas James has carried out valuations & conducted auction sales in a range of industries including but not limited to power generation, transport, engineering, woodworking, 5-star hotels, earthmoving, farm machinery, hospitality, office & retail fit-outs, information technology, motor vehicles, maritime, materials handling, plastics & food manufacturing. James has also carried out many valuations for the health care & education industries.James has carried out valuations for McCain Foods, Fone Zone, OPSM, KVSI Millers Self Storage Facilities, Cemex, NZ Defense, National Measurement Institute & the Ministry of Transport (Sydney Buses). Areas of particular experience include; healthcare having conducted valuations of hospitals, aged care facilities, general & specialty practices, cultural and historical assets including valuations of Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Te Puia (NZ) & aircraft.
