About James Myles

Over the past 29+ years, I’ve built a career shaped by military discipline and law enforcement leadership. Starting in the U.S. Army and continuing through senior roles with one of Virginia’s largest Sheriff’s Offices, I’ve led teams in high-pressure environments where security, trust, and performance are essential. My approach to leadership blends mission-focused execution with a deep commitment to people. Whether managing large cross-functional teams, responding to critical incidents, or improving internal systems, I believe in leading by example, staying calm under pressure, and creating a culture of accountability that drives results. I’ve worked across secure facilities, alternative incarceration programs, and civil enforcement units, gaining hands-on experience with everything from surveillance systems and physical security protocols to stakeholder coordination and audit preparation. I’m also passionate about talent development and take pride in mentoring emerging leaders who carry the torch forward.
