About James Napier

Since 2018, I've been the lead designer for JB Hunt's 360 Tracking application. I've also designed for their Empty Trailer Planning and 360 Scheduling applications. Collaborating directly their design system team, research department, and a team of 8 app and web developers, we're transforming the transportation industry. Since 2020, I've taken command of the Arkansas Army National Guard 142 Signal Company and am entrusted with command of all personnel, training, and equipment. Since 2017, I've been running an Amazon Sellers business and have recently launched my own brand on Amazon, designing user experience for physical products to add to my UX portfolio. User personas I've worked with in the past 5 years: • Middle school and high school athletes, faculty staff, students, coaches, parents, and fans. • JB Hunt Fleet Managers, Logistics Coordinators, Asset Manages, Customer Experience Representatives, Outsource Carriers, Capacity Coordinators, Rail Load Managers, Operations Manages Duties: • Execute on the product roadmap in an accurate, expeditious, and hands-on fashion while establishing a scalable design methodology for future growth. • Assume primary role in design and user experience phases • Make valuable contributions to business discussions around the company's current and long-term mobile and web strategy. • Assist in initial discovery phase to establish client's needs. • Effectively collaborate with other developers, mobile and web, to achieve the highest quality output. • Actively research and pursue new technologies that will contribute to product growth. • Perform in a task oriented project environment, completing projects in the allotted time. • Update stakeholders when new information changes project scope • Actively study and integrate the latest design trends. • Effectively implement the highest standards of user interface design and user experience.
