As the Bureau Chief of Building Code Administration at the City of Lancaster, I oversee the enforcement of Pennsylvania’s Uniform Construction Code and Lancaster’s building ordinances. I ensure compliance in all construction and renovation projects, safeguarding residents and fostering safe and sustainable communities. I also provide oversight and direction of operations with significant autonomy, managing third-party contractors, the building permit approval process, and regulatory enforcement. With over 10 years of experience in public service, I have developed strong skills in strategic thinking, compliance management, and budget management. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Simpson University. I am also certified in Strategy Execution for Public Leadership by Harvard Business School. My mission is to uphold high-quality standards in construction and development, ensuring that the built environment is safe, sustainable, and beneficial to the community.
