About James Nolin

My philosophy is to focus on strategic leadership with a roadmap that provides a foundation for continuous improvements in technology and security. Assuring IT is never an impediment to the business due to legacy systems, infrastructure and processes. I have led the adoption of cloud first solutions, using the DevOps and DevSecOps framework, where infrastructure as code for global IT infrastructure provides the nimble environment necessary to keep the business on the frontier of innovation. This allowed a successful migration of all enterprise systems to a multi-region footprint in Microsoft’s Azure cloud, while maintaining the 24x7 operations capabilities necessary to run an airline. Moreover, this philosophy and success, along with aggressive resource and cost management has provided the opportunity to create a true multi-cloud environment to assure that a single cloud provider cannot impact our operations capabilities. The cloud foundation and adoption of software defined architecture has provided reliability, redundancy and low latency bandwidth to our international footprint, and the adoption of strategic AI for business, IT and security operations will continue to create value for the business as we strive to maintain our ability to innovate.
