About James Nortey

It’s not about me. I attribute my professional success to my parents (who came to this country for economic opportunity) and the community of teachers, preachers, volunteers, and businesses who invested in me. I am blessed to pay those blessings forward. I help people and organizations with personal development, business development, and community development. I am a Persuader. Whether as an attorney, advocate, or advisor. I am driven to lead, influence, and motivate other people. I am interested in making my mark in the world by impacting the perspectives and decisions of others. I am also a husband, father, and community volunteer with roots all over Texas. My parents are immigrants from Ghana in West Africa who came to America for the same reason so many do: a better quality of life. Born in Dallas, but grew up in El Paso. Went to college at Baylor in Waco and spent some time in the Boston area for law school. Practiced law in Austin and Houston, and now live in San Antonio. To know me is know that I am animated by making an impact and being a differencemaker.
