Over 35 years experience in civil engineering and engineering science in the fields of construction, project management, administration, and computer applications. Experience in project controls including contract administration under FIDIC, scheduling with Primavera and MS Project, correspondence preparation, document control, and progress payments. Contracts administration experience on EPCM projects. Familiar with schedule and cost control techniques including earned value, variance reports, performance indexes and forecasting of schedules and costs. • Extensive domestic and international professional experience in the public sector as engineering advisor/consultant to the Prime Minister's Office in Thailand, the World Bank, USAID, Sacramento Regional Transit, BART, SFPUC • as well as in the private sector with Bechtel International, BP, Ralph M. Parsons, Shimizu Corp. of Japan and PG & E. • Proficient in the use of MicroSoft application software such as Excel, Word, Access and Project. Broad working knowledge of software such as Windows 2007, SQL server, SAP and Share Point Services including MOSS. Database experience programming MS Access, advanced MS Excel functions including pivot tables and VBA, building SQL server reports from OLAP cubes. In addition was the system administrator for PG & E’s implementation of MS Project Server 2003 and 2007. • Over 20 years experience working with Primavera Project Planner up to and including the server based Primavera Release 8.2.2 at PG & E as an administrator. • Strong cross-cultural communication skills between Western and Asian cultures. Extensive experience working in diverse multi-cultural environments and familiar with technology transfer and communicating knowledge across cultures. • Wide ranging experience training, coaching, and mentoring users of various cultural backgrounds in numerous software applications and project management processes spanning my 35 year career in the US, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia.
