About James Oneill

My working experience has largely involved managerial work within the Arts and Heritage and Higher Education sectors. This has consisted of curatorial assisting at the British Museum (2014-16); TSIO at Royal Collections Trust (Buckingham Palace); Duty Managing at Richmond Theatre ATG in Front of House and Ticket Sales (2013-16); and most recently conducting my PhD and teaching in the department of Modern Languages and Culture and project managing within student support at Ustinov College, Durham University respectively (2016-20). Since completing my PhD (2021) I have worked on publishing further academic research (latest publications including a paper in Word & Image on botanical symbolism in the Renaissance epic, the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili; and a book published through Routledge entitled 'The Allegory of Love in the Early Renaissance: Francesco Colonna's Hypnerotomachia Poliphili and it's European Context'). Currently, I am working within the media sector, in legal and business affairs, as a Systems and Contract Manager at Wildbrain CPLG (London) with a focus on Intellectual Property:A results-driven and highly motivated contracts manager with a proven track record of delivering tangible outcomes in business and legal affairs with a passion to ever expand my skillset. An enthusiastic and dedicated professional committed to achieving targets with excellence through every task undertaken. With extensive experience in the contract lifecycle: including negotiating contracts and contract drafting as well as data analysis and line management. This comprehensive skillset was applied to manging the Greek market in merchandise contracts for a plethora of major Licensors, including Sony, Hasbro, Paramount and Peanuts. Additionally led on systems management, pipeline and contract turnaround time analysis for VPs, and both line managed and trained staff conducting contract reviews, allowing for an effective and holistic contribution to Wildbrain CPLG.
