Background

About James Orr

I am an accomplished senior finance professional with experience managing the financial health of a SME that operates globally and in multiple currencies. I work closely with executives and colleagues, using my skills to assist with strategic planning, project management, and providing various funding solutions. I have a broad skillset that includes IT, HR, company taxation and financial reporting and I enjoy bringing these together to help create success in the workplace. Outside of finance I am passionate about health and fitness and enjoy keeping fit and helping others attain their fitness goals. Currently I am furthering my studies in this area so that I can be involved in group and personal training. As well as my passion for health and fitness, I have a strong interest in science and technology and have previously worked in the advanced manufacturing sector, finding this role to be challenging, interesting and exciting. After taking a short career break to relocate to Brisbane with my family, I am keen to find a role as a finance professional in either the fitness industry or within the science and technology/advanced manufacturing sectors.
