About James Pitcher

Having been involved in Sports Management specialising in AFL clients since 2008, I have been fortunate to be part of a number of clients careers that have reached the level they duly deserve and feel honoured to have played a role in their success. Conversely I have also been involved in careers which never got a chance to take off due to varying reasons. The cut throat nature of professional sport inspires me to ensure that our clients have everything at their disposal at all times to give them the best chance to succeed. This includes but is not limited to contract negotiation, endorsement/sponsorship opportunities, welfare, financial education and management, and post career planning. Fortunately I have always had a wealth of experience and knowledge around me to learn from, which has fast tracked my development. This has also seen me involved in many high profile contract negotiations for clients such as Gary Ablett, Lance Franklin, Scott Pendlebury, Dane Swan, Jack Riewoldt, and Tom Boyd to name a few. I am striving to grow my contacts beyond AFL and into other major Australian sports, to continue my passion of managing elite sporting talent. I am also equally keen to grow my contact network in the corporate world to see what opportunities may be out there for our clients. A passion for sport and business, there is nothing better than loving your job so much that you feel you have and never will work a day in your life.
