Analyst with a publishing background. My current position is writing reports and making data visualizations on small excerpts from a large clinical claims database. I primarily program in R and Rstudio, and of course know Excel. I've worked a bit with SQL and MongoDB, but most of my experience is with data that fits in memory. Like everyone, I've dabbled in deep learning; I've worked on projects for medical image recognition in MXnet and natural language processing in Keras, but I've rarely worked with data big enough to justify anything shinier than linear regression. I'm interested in work in analytics or science writing and publishing, preferably related to medicine.
