About James Polson

For several years I worked as a multimodality technologist while pursuing my teaching experience as a fulltime faculty member for an accredited JRCERT radiology institution. I then took a different path with my imaging career working in the field of biotech and clinical trials. I worked closely with key opinion leaders (KOL) during the QC process to create specific imaging parameters implemented at research imaging institutions. In the next step of my career I used my medical imaging expertise for oncology research through the NCCN guideline process. While I performed the role of the Oncology Scientist, I was responsible to publish and update the NCCN Imaging AUC Compendium content in accordance to NCCN Panel Guidelines. Additionally I provided QC checks to our Licensees of the Compendium content. Now I am utilizing my imaging and oncologic knowledge for a CRO company Clario. In this role, I serve as a Medical and Scientific Affairs Advisor providing thorough consultation throughout the life cycle stages of an oncologic clinical trial. I am also on secondment to Merck KGaA serving as their Scientific Imaging Lead for their Xevipant Program.
