One of my proudest achievements is reshaping the organization from the ground up, fostering engaged and focused teams at every echelon. I truly believe that my holistic development plans and leadership style have reignited the commitment of members to the organization's objectives. Today, thanks to these efforts, I see an organization standing stronger and more aligned than when I first stepped into it. One of my significant accomplishments includes restructuring organization funds into a 501(c)(3) account, ensuring its proper regulation and instating guidelines for its usage. This initiative not only brought about financial transparency but also ensured robust accountability for contributions received. I've met diverse challenges head-on, be it through apt delegation, meticulous supervision, or personally spearheading brainstorming sessions, group presentations, and keynote addresses to an array of audiences, ranging from government agencies to foreign dignitaries. The last 10+ years, working at the General/Flag Officer levels of military service, have particularly sharpened my leadership and professional development acumen. With 35+ years of active duty service behind me, I've had the privilege of briefing various echelons of the government. From the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and Members of Congress to foreign governments, militaries, and State Department officials, my interactions have solidified my prowess, bolstering my confidence to excel in diverse environments. Outside of my professional sphere, I cherish moments of solitude in my garden, the invigorating thrill of a good run, and the joy of immersing myself in a captivating book. My experiences, both professional and personal, have molded me into a leader who is adaptive, decisive, and eager to forge ahead.
