About James Pringle

I am a recent graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, I have also lived in Cambridge, MA, and Troy, NY, and I am open to relocation. I possess extensive experience with a number of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, and C#, along with considerable knowledge in computer related fields like machine learning, network programming, and numerical computing. I was born in Atlanta, GA. This is where I spent most of my childhood until I left for Cambridge, MA, where I would start and finish high school. It was here that I was first introduced to programming. I quickly developed a passion for designing and optimizing code, diving headfirst into the world of software and computers. After high school, I spent the next four years studying computer science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. During this time, I was really able to develop my knowledge and skills as well as explore the many different branches of computer science, including parallel computing, network programming, and machine learning, among others. I love collaborating with others in the pursuit of a common goal. I find that a diversity of experience and thought ultimately leads to better results. Beyond that, I also relish the opportunity to interact with others and learn from their experiences. I am a very friendly and sociable person, but ultimately also very goal-oriented. Beyond work and study, I indulge in a number of hobbies. I enjoy playing chess and drawing, although admittedly I have much room for improvement in both. I have a great interest in physics and try to keep up to date on the latest discoveries. Finally, I also have a bit of an obsession with really nice office supplies, particularly fountain pens.
