Background

About James Quigley

Twenty years of construction experience, and ten years experience with physical security. I've done framing, finish carpentry,flooring, concrete, masonry, and solar installation as far as construction goes. As for physical security, I served in the military in two combat zones, and spent time as a correctional officer following my departure from the military. I'm able to work in any climate or weather condition, as well as tense and potentially hostile environments. I'm skilled at verbal communication and de-escalating situations, staying on task, working independently or leading a team. I obtained a degree in Crime and Intelligence Analysis, and that has been useful, even in a construction setting. I look at facts and data and events and can predict outcomes, build a schedule, and complete tasks. In every job that I've worked I have had leadership experience, and at this point in my life I'm ready to take that experience to the next level. I know that I would be a good candidate to lead a project or office. I'm also interested in safety. I have seen too many accidents in construction due to improper training or the failure to use the right safety equipment and tools.
