About James Ream

Since I was little, baseball has been something I have always been passionate about. However, just like the majority of those who have played, life took me in a different direction. Once I got into high school, the possibility of baseball not quite working out started to weigh heavily on me. I used times of contemplation like this to figure out in a sense, what exactly I wanted to do with my life if baseball didn't quite work out. This is where my passion for marketing arose. After taking a select few marketing classes in high school, I was eager to take more classes related to marketing once college came around. Upon my acceptance into the University of Georgia after attending LaGrange College (I played baseball here), I took my shot at getting into the Terry School of Business, with my first major choice being Marketing. After getting into Terry, and after almost two years of being at Georgia, I am about to graduate in the fall of 2021. Currently, I am partaking in an internship with a company called Anchor Pointe Learning, and am loving every second of it. It has been extremely rewarding, eye opening, enriching, and has taught me a lot about Marketing, as well as who I am as a person. However, there is a lot left to learn, and a lot of blank pages left to fill as I search for a job after college and as I venture into the real world. One thing stands clear though: as I have had many ups and downs along the way, I will continue to work towards bettering myself and will strive for better.
