I am an enthusiastic and accomplished applied mathematician, specialising in the mathematical modelling of fluid dynamics. I am currently a Business Analyst at Scottish Water working as part of the Intelligent Control Centre (ICC) Business Support Team. I was awarded a PhD from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde. My five years of postgraduate experience have provided me with a solid foundation in data analysis and visualisation, problem-solving, technical project management, and report writing. I excel at creatively addressing complex problems through data analysis and interpretation, effectively communicating results, and delivering precise, data-driven insights and recommendations. My experience spans academic research, conference presentations, voluntary work, and leadership roles within the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Strathclyde Student Chapter, all of which have honed my collaboration and communication skills.
