About James Rich

Having completed my certification with the Digital Marketing Institute in 2020, I am a qualified digital marketing professional with 5+ years experience, currently working at the Toronto Business Development Centre. During 2021, I worked to help launch Specific Chiropractic, a new Chiropractic business in Farnborough, UK that opened in September of that year. I created the logo, clinic fascia and advertising board, played a large role in building the website, set up and advertised the company's Facebook page and ads, and built a solid foundation for the company's SEO ranking. In my own time, I continue to assist the owner at SC. From 2022-23 I was at DHL, working on their ambitious project in overhauling their website from its originally over-bloated and bulky state into something far more streamlined and user-friendly. Within six months, I became responsible for overseeing the CMS cleanup for the Events & Webinars section. Duties involved creating new webpages using Adobe Experience Manager (CMS), using translation software such as GlobalLink to rollout to 156 markets internationally, and analysing page performance using Adobe Analytics and Decibel. Analytics contributed perhaps the largest share of my workload, where I spent most of the time creating dashboards for directors. Today, I live in Canada, managing four of TBDC's websites, building and updating pages as new incubation programs are structured and branding changes. Researching new capabilities for Wordpress (CMS) and Elementor (page builder) plays a role, as does reporting on performance and optimising for SEO. I have some coding knowledge that I use in conjunction with Elementor AI and other forms of AI to achieve best results, and work with third party vendors to complete content creation, site migrations and heavy workload situations. I also organise the flow of data from our websites into Zoho (business software) CRM and Email campaigns as well as build application forms that are integrated into the websites. Further organisation involves CRM field customisation and data and project managing. Outside of work I am a big football fan, hiking enthusiast and enjoy exploring the limitless fun of modded video games. Ducks are also seriously underrated animals.
