I’m an automotive writer, editor and video presenter who caters to enthusiast and consumer readers. I strive to create experiential content that makes people feel as if they’re in the driver seat or on a particular road. Cars aren’t washing machines — reading about them should be enjoyable. At the same time, cars are still consumer products, and I always maintain strong consideration for practical buying decisions made by real people who rely on automotive journalists to deliver informed, unbiased and reasoned impressions. I am presently Autoblog’s Senior Editor, West Coast & Features. I manage all review and feature content on Autoblog in addition to covering the majority of car events that happen on the West Coast. I also write automotive reviews, news and features. Previously, I spent nearly a decade as an Automotive Editor at Edmunds.com where I wrote and edited consumer-focused car reviews, was an on-camera video presenter, attended OEM events, covered auto shows and learned as much as I possibly could from our exceptional vehicle testing team. In between, I was a freelance writer doing many of the same tasks for Autotrader.com, Edmunds.com, Autoblog, Hagerty and Car and Driver.
