About James Roscoe

With an MSc in Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a BSc in Environmental Biology from the University of Nottingham, I am a Senior Consultant at Ricardo plc, a global leader in environmental consulting and engineering. I have a passion for sustainability and a keen interest in policy and governance issues related to the energy and climate sectors. I have successfully delivered a range of projects for public and private clients, providing expertise in desk research, data analysis, stakeholder consultations, and report writing. Some of my key project highlights include developing Malta's transport strategy, spearheading the UK's plan for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and enhancing social innovation through the rural energy community advisory hub. I have also contributed to the evaluation of transport and energy-related policies, as well as leading net-zero projects. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and society through my work.
