As the former President and CEO of the Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce, I built and led a dynamic and diverse team of professionals who were committed to advancing the economic, civic, and cultural well-being of our business community. With over 25+ years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit management, I have a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and sustainability for various media brands, startups, and established organizations. I am experienced in working with boards and interfacing with board chairs to define operational goals using proven business strategies to deliver results. My experience has given me the confidence to excel at developing and executing management buy-in, fill staffing needs, guide marketing and sales strategies while building strategic partnerships. My experience includes the organizational corporate support rebranding of KPBS, where I increased corporate support revenue by 50% over a five-year period. I am passionate about building human capital, fostering positive motivation, and creating a culture of excellence and accountability. My motto is: Win with hearts and minds and own that as a person. My most recent expereince tasked me with reinventing the Escondido Chamber of Commerce into a vibrant and driven membership based organization centered on delivering value to our members and major sposnsors while building a dynamic and sustainable future. This expereince reinforced my confidence in my ability to create positive change and make a difference.
