Experienced Commercial Manager with both UK and international experience currently working at a high level in the UK Defence Sector Throughout my career I have built up a broad skill portfolio that includes: • Contract drafting, Contract negotiation and Contract management of a wide range of military and civil activities including large PFI projects, Major International Turnkey System Contracts, Joint Venture Agreements, Research and Development Projects, Collaboration Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements and Technical Assistance Agreements. • Drafting, negotiation and management of sub-contracts incorporating flow-down of prime contract identifying and addressing risk. • Acting as the high level customer interface at home and abroad, encompassing contract negotiation, management of bank guarantees, dispute settlement and project review in international environment. • Preparation and negotiation of procurement contracts according to MOD terms and conditions in single source and competitive situations. • Preparation of major proposals and tenders in both author and review team capacity. • Significant experience of overall management and development of business units including establishing appropriate controls and procedures.
