My name is James Scally, and I'm Junior at Bentley University majoring in Finance with minors in Business Law, Business Management, and History. I’m passionate about finance, as it combines my strengths in analytical thinking, competitiveness, and attention to detail. My coursework at Bentley University has equipped me with the necessary financial skills, such as financial analysis, securities valuation, and understanding how markets operate. Professionally, I interned at eSec Lending, where I improved operational efficiency, developed Excel-based billing tools, and ensured data integrity across client accounts. These experiences strengthened my teamwork and problem-solving abilities, which I’ve continued to refine throughout my academic and extracurricular activities. In addition to my finance interests, I’ve held roles at a sub shop and ice cream store in my hometown, which taught me the value of customer service and team leadership. As captain of my high school football and lacrosse teams, I learned discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Currently, I’m an active member of the Bentley Investment Group, where I help analyze investment pitches and improve the club’s portfolio. I’m eager to continue developing my skills and look forward to gaining more experience in the finance industry through future internships.
