James Shepherdson is a highly experienced investment adviser with over 30 years’ experience in financial markets, 26 of those in Investment Advisory. He began his career at EL & C Baillieu, was approached to join Potter Warburg in 1994 before subsequently joining Bell Potter in James is dedicated, hardworking and client-focused. He comes to work to protect and grow the wealth of his clients and takes great pride in helping them succeed. His client relationships are typically long standing. James is sincere and candid in the delivery of personalised advice. He listens and supports his clients at every stage – providing the confidence that their wealth is secure, professionally managed and growing. James has a highly disciplined investment philosophy that has been refined over the years. His overarching objective is to deliver consistent returns and protect the capital of his clients, basing investment choices on careful research and risk assessment. He has a deep insight into local markets and extensive knowledge across all asset classes, specialising in portfolio construction and stock selection. James is perpetually committed to educating himself and becoming a better adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics and Finance and is a Member (Master) of the Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association. He is ASIC RG146 accredited to advise in Australian and International Equities, Levels 1 and 2 Derivatives, Fixed Interest Securities, Listed and Unlisted Managed Investments, Superannuation, Government Bonds and Debentures.
