About James Sheppard

James is both an architect and a chartered project management surveyor (MRICS) with over 15 years experience. He specialises in complex projects with challenging delivery characteristics. He has worked on a variety of high profile projects. involving complex delivery and funding requirements. James was lead project manager for the Imperial War Museum Transformation with Foster + Partners. He passionately believes that high quality design should and can be delivered by employing appropriate risk and value management. Used to leading large internal and external teams, James has excellent Project Management skills which ensure that he is able to motivate teams in ensuring that focus is given to achieving success criteria on projects, in a collaborative environment. James has particular expertise in OJEU procurement. James has an interest in helping clients to understand how BIM can be implemented on their projects and has held workshops with the Home Office in order to develop client briefing. He has sat on the CIC London BIM hub and the IESE (Improvement & Efficiency South East) BIM Task group. He has completed the RICS BIM Project Management course.
