As a mechanical engineer for 21+ years, I have applied my design, analysis, and leadership skills to solve clients' most difficult problems and build practical foundations under their ideas. I am strongly interested in taking on new challenges in Product Design and Product Development. Some of my qualifications include: Design and analysis experience for widely varied products and industries: custom industrial equipment, consumer products, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, alternative energy, mining, and medical devices. Innovation coupled with Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Proven skill at research and development (R&D) requiring original thinking, collaboration, finite element analysis (FEA) simulations, and experimentation. Project management, leadership of multidisciplinary design teams, and mentorship of design engineers and FE analysts. In addition to my primary career, I am an inventor and entrepreneur-founding a consumer product company uniting my passions for design, creativity, variety, marketing, and sales.
