About James Speir

Hello, my name is James Perry Speir, Jr. I have a Bachelor's of the Arts in Theatre Arts from Maryville College. That introduction can occasionally be off-putting, because many assume there is no application for the skills learned in that field. However lacking in technical knowledge it may seem, it pays for itself in learning how the behave and present yourself in any given situation. Whether its on the phone with an angry customer, or shaking hands with a business colleague, the experience and training from my degree have made hurdles much more surmountable. I'm currently looking for a position that utilizes these skills, such as being able to control my voice, speak with numerous people in varying situations, and display not only the best side of myself, but also any company I represent. As a liberal arts major, adjusting and learning from a myriad of sources and fields not only comes as a learned second nature, but also with a drive to learn and excel.
