We are a highly motivated and experienced ranch couple with a growing young family looking for a long term, ideally permanent cattle ranch position. 6 years ranching in the Rockies on commercial cow/calf and registered angus operations Him: Cattle management (Cold weather calving, calf doctoring, low stress handling by horseback & machine, nutrition planning) Heavy Equipment (Tractors, Skids, Excavator, Heavy truck) Mechanical service and repairs Farming and Hay Production (no-till seeding, sprayer, GPS trained, sickle and rotary swather, bale correct moisture) All-around hand at ranch trades - fence, carpentry, welding, electrical, pivot and wheel line irrigation, water tanks, game and stock meat processing Her: 15 Years of horse experience Cold weather calving ID cows in distress Calf pulling Doctoring calves, summer range riding Operates tractors, hay equipment and other implements Haul stock and back trailers Drive stick shift She has done custom catering, baking and hospitality management for 8 years and enjoys hosting hunters and cooking for the ranch team on large cattle working days. We have a toddler and she is mostly a stay at home mom but is accustomed to helping on the ranch as needed. We come with several well behaved dogs and a couple horses looking for a ranch with family housing and the possibility of growing a small group of our own cows and purchasing a plot of land for ourselves in the future. We are hard working, dependable, and loyal to a fault for the right opportunity
