About James Stacey

I’m a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who works with autistic and ADHD children and young people, their families, and other parts of their support networks. I take time to listen to children and their parents - to explore how environmental, neurodevelopmental, and psychological factors come together to shape each child or young person’s strengths and struggles - before planning and providing personalised psychosocial interventions. Trust, compassion, and hope guide everything I do in my work. I worry that so many families feel alone and unheard and know how hard it can be to access timely, high‑quality assessments, guidance, and the right interventions. I believe that carefully designed digital tools can help address these problems, working hand‑in‑hand with traditional specialist care to bring neurodivergent children and young people and their families the understanding and support they need.
