About James Stagg

I Started in Telecommunications in 1994 as a trainee engineer, this progressed quickly into a field support role. after 4 years i made the leap to Installations and worked for just over 2 years for a small company in Sussex. Then with 6 years experience i made the move to Technical support in working for Crane Telecommunications, 3 years later moved into the SME Pre sales team having been recognised as sales focused, this really introduced me to the world of Sales and working with lots of the Avaya business partners. I was approached on several occasions to move to a Direct sales role and when the time and the offer were right i moved to Alternative networks in May 2005. I looked after the existing client base for systems and averaged a good number for about 8 months, this led to recruiting another head to work alongside me, the Client Management team was born and great success followed. In 2007 i was made Manager of the CM team and (5 bodies) less than a year later i was asked to run the entire SME sales team (13 bodies). Passionate about Unified Communications and next generation of communications, I believe that moving with technology demands ensure that both the customer experience and the products you bring to them should be the latest and offering the greatest business benefit, the market for next generation communications will be a hot topic in this year more that ever before.
