About James Stamm

Started working young with a local moving company(Arpin). I worked my way up to crew leader where I drove to the customer, inventoried household goods, insured proper packing and securement, and delivery. At 18 yrs of age joined the Army, as an Abrams Armored Crewman. I deployed twice and was stationed at Fort Benning, GA and Fort Wainwright, AK in my 8 year career. I medically retired from the Army in may 2016 as an E5/SGT due to medications restricting my ability to travel for future deployments. After the Army, I moved back Waverly Hall, GA and began working in cabinetry. There I started at assembly and installation assistant, to having an assistant of my own. After training my assistant my responsibilities, I felt I needed more and decided to make a career change into the transportation industry. I used my benefits from the military to complete Georgia Driver's Academy and immediately started with TMC Transportation who had impressed me in their recruitment process, equipment standards, and their "Control your own success." attitude. 12 months in I completed TMC's train the trainer and trained a total of five trainees over the course of another year. In a nut shell, I then decided that the next step up was owning my own truck. I'm always looking for advancement opportunity. I never settle.
